Started competing in 2002, placed second at the Canadians, went on to
win the World Chiefs Title in 2002. In 2003 won the bronze medal in the
Chiefs division in Ottawa.
As an active member of our departments high angle rescue/helicopter rescue
teams I believe its important to stay at a peak fitness level. I find
training for the challenge offers that type of cross training which helps
in the day to day challenges of a fire department. It makes life easier
when the bell rings.
I don't take any supplements and am not that big on dietary habits. I
usually just eat well balanced mealsm trying not to over eat.
Hey girls, just updating my bio. 2002 Gold in Chief Officers , 2003 Bronze

1:34. Hope this old body holds out for two more years.

I don't really know where I'm headed career wise... I'm happy being with
ARFF, but may make the jump back to structural. Fitness wise, I am committed
to my team, first and foremost. My goal is sub 100. Currently I stand
at 1: 47 seconds. I've had trouble maintaining that standard this year
but will continue to drive toward my goal. Diverse training is the key.
Not to rule anything out. Took up yoga this year, on top of all the stairs,
weighted stairs, weights, hill running, and psychological training I usually
do. Supplement with protein, but don't believe in anything else - well,
May be a Tim Hortens Coffee: not that Starbucks Crap!
