I've been involved in Fitness for a very long time, I started hitting
the weights my Freshman year of High School, I figured if I wasn't going
to get taller, I would have to be wider! I got hooked on weight training
and now at 42, I'm still a fit 5'6'' 205.
I've been involved in Martial Arts for the past 9 yrs. and have found
the extra flexibility and coordination a real plus in the Fire fighting
field.
I try to keep myself as fit as possible, to be an example to the guys
in my department. As the Physical Fitness and Wellness coordinator for
my department keeping myself fit is a must!
I try to eat healthy, but i don't deprive myself (I'm not a big fan of
the word Diet). I take a multi vitamin and Amino Acids.

My achievements were getting my EMT, firefighting certifications,&
health & wellness. My fitness goals are to stay in shape and train
hard. When you have a training officer like mine you have no choice but
to be firefighter fit. Your fire training & fitness will help you
get were you need. I mainly follow a simple diet plan i got from muscle&fitness
magazine that has helped me shred 57lbs. in a little more than 2months.
I found that muscle&fitness is a great source for people to look at
trying. I use hydroxycut and z-masspm basically all the time. I have one
theory when it comes to firefighting and fitness: IF YOU DON'T SET YOURSELF
GOALS , YOU WON'T HAVE THE WILL-POWER. TRAIN HARD THANKS
